History of Adi Rani Tribal Queen Contest

A year back in the “Temple City of Bhubaneswar”, Dr. Chidatmika Khatua, a Social Women Entrepreneur was driven by the extraordinary dream to visually perceive a day when people all over the world will recognize and appreciate the tribal talent. Like many of us, Dr. Chidatmika, too was upset when she discerned disparities between tribal people and others. She hated to see tribal people didn’t get equal recognition and respect in the society and were always considered as rearwards. She took initiative to bring the change in the society where tribal people identity and talent will get equal importance and respect in the society.

In 2018 Dr. Chidatmika founded Adi Tribal Foundation which will work for betterment and upliftment of Tribal People. It is very difficult to change people mindset. It was tough for me as well when i talked with people about the idea to give the single tribal women talents to be recognised, rather as a group which has been going on since long. I was feeling standing alone with my concept. It's a say if you are positive and determine with your cause then god comes to help you. That is exactly what has happened with me there was few people those stood with me like a pillar they are the living angels for me at that period. They are Mr. Bhagawat Tripathy, whom i call him bhishma pitamah, Mr. Sanjay Das, a lovely brother for me, Mr. Debasis Padhi a lovely Individual and a good human being of a positive mindset and a lovely sister Mrs. Kalpana Mishra those who stand like a success pillar behind the Adi Rani.No Words left with me to tell them tha ks because "Thanks" one word cannot satisfy my heart feeling. so we created a group called "Secrete Pandavas". We Five now together taking it forward the "Adi Rani 2019" to Global Level. No doubt this baby is conserved by me but delivered by Seceret Pandavas together. has commenced the revolution in the form of Adi Rani Tribal Queen Contest (A Unique Talent Search for Tribal Talent across India). The Adi Rani Tribal Queen Contest was concluded in 2 phases (Semi Finale and Grand Finale) in which more than 100 girls have participated in first phase out of which top 20 girls got the chance to perform in the Grand Finale which was organized at Utkal Mandap Bhubaneswar, Odisha on 24th June 2018. This unique initiative and concept has made the dreams of many tribal girls come true and given them a great platform to showcase their tribal tradition, culture and talent of their tribal community ecumenical.

All through the arduous times, it was Dr. Chidatmika’s passion, dedication and strenuous exertion which is the reason for the prosperity of Adi Rani Tribal Queen Contest. She puts all her effort to convince people to abstract the barrier of inequality between tribal communities and others. With her team Dr. Chidatmika will perpetuate this initiative ever year and will be the transmuting factor which will revolutionize the identity of tribal communities ecumenical.
